Ethics & Compliance

As NCOC we set high standards of performance and ethical behaviours. We are judged by how we act - our reputation is upheld by how we live up to our core values of honesty, integrity and respect for people. The General Business Principles and the Code of Conduct help everyone at NCOC act in line with these values and comply with all relevant legislation and regulations.

General Business Principles:

Our principles are based on our core values of honesty, integrity and respect for people and are part of everything we do. They apply to all our business affairs and describe the behaviour expected of every staff memer. Our General Business Principles are based on these core values and indicate how we promote trust, openness, teamwork and professionalism, and pride in what we do.

As part of these principles, we commit to contribute to sustainable development, balancing short and long-term interests and integrating economic, environmental and social considerations into our decision-making. We also expect contractors to conform to the General Business Principles in all aspects of their work with NCOC. Click here to download a PDF copy of the General Business Principles.

Code of Conduct:

Our Code of Conduct guides staff members on how to apply the General Business Principles in line with our core values of honesty, integrity and respect. It provides practical advice on how to comply with laws and regulations and how to relate to customers, communities and colleagues. The Code of Conduct clarifies the standards we expect our staff members to follow and the behaviours we expect them to adopt.

The Code of Conduct covers such areas as: Fighting Corrupt Practices, National and International Trade, Health, Safety, Security and the Environment, Safeguarding Information and Communications. Click here to download a PDF copy of the Code of Conduct.

Compliance Support & Hotline

We have established a Hotline to allow staff members and third parties (vendors, suppliers, contractors and any other stakeholders) to raise concerns and report instances of potential non-compliance with our values and principles. All submissions are collected and processed by an independent company which guarantees confidentiality and anonymity. Reports received via this Hotline will be passed to authorised persons within NCOC N.V., who will ensure they are dealt with in a professional and confidential manner. You will be asked to provide your identity and contact information to enable your query or concern to be handled most effectively, but anonymous reports will be accepted.
