NCOC is responsible for the selection of Social Infrastructure Projects (SIP), the execution of which it delegates to Agent Company NCPOC.
Social and Infrastructure Projects (SIPs) are an important element of NCOC’s corporate and social responsibility commitment. Under the NCSPSA, part of the development’s capital expenditure is allocated to build social infrastructure. This covers education, healthcare, sports and culture and other general interest infrastructure. Funds are equally split between Atyrau and Mangistau oblasts where the NCSPSA operations are located.

Projects are generally proposed by the Akimats. Once approved, social and infrastructure projects pass through the following stages; design and engineering, call for tender and execution. NCOC delegates these three phases to NCPOC, but monitors the process throughout.
